Openhouse

A platform for designers and creative thinkers inspiration from alternative sources.

Challenge

To Create an identity for the ongoing event Openhouse. positioned as ‘not your typical design talk.’ Openhouse gained a following and was reclocate to the more spacious Northern Monk Brewery in Leeds. They needed to have a brand that was identifiable as soon as you walked in the door.

Approach

Using the letters OH (Openhouse) I created a brand mark that had a bold visual punch but could also be used in a more functional way influencing layout and contain imagery. Paired with the yellow and some wry humour there was no question that you had arrived at the event.

Result

The event is still ongoing and has had a number of talented guest speakers covering multiple topics. We also sold hand made poster at the event to raise money for charity.
